That's right...I love this rabbit food! Especially juiced!
Carrots are super popular and multi-talented! I eat them raw, steamed, sauteed, baked, shredded and juiced...and in their Many forms, they are sweet, crunchy and oh so good for you! So what makes Carrot juice so wonderful?

1. Incredible Health Benefits

High Source of Antioxidants
Carotenoids, found in orange veggies such as Carrots are Potent antioxidants that help your body fight illness and disease by stopping DNA damage, inflammation and by promoting cellular health. Additionally, just one cup of Carrot juice contains 400% of your vitamin A needs! In the form of beta carotene, Vitamin A is One the of most powerful vitamins for our bodies as it boasts an impressive list of benefits including heart disease and stroke prevention, eye sight health, immunity and organ lining health.

Reduces Cholesterol
Potassium is a wonderful friend of our bodies. It reduces cholesterol levels,  it supports our liver by reducing fat and bile in it, and it stabilizes our blood sugar levels. Although Carrots are known to be high on the Glycemic index, however by eating the carrot raw you are avoiding the spike in sugars which occurs during cooking.

Antifungal/Antiviral
Carrots can prevent infections due to their anti-fungal, antiviral and disinfectant properties. Drinking carrot juice helps to treat infections throughout the entire body including the throat, stomach, intestine, urinary tract and colon. Carrot juice is often recommended as a treatment for candida overgrowth in the stomach due to its anti-fungal properties.

Vitamin and Mineral Dose
In addition to their healing powers for our bodies health, adding Carrot juice to your diet is like taking a natural Multi Vitamin. Carrots provide high amounts of Vitamins C, D, E and K, as well as a bunch of amazing mineral like magnesium, potassium and calcium.

2. Amazing Beauty Benefits

Skin Health

The Potassium in Carrots helps to reduce scars and acne, it also improves the overall tone and hydration of the skin. The Vitamins and Mineral in Carrots act as a supplement for your Body AND Skin, and improves Eczema which is caused by a deficiency in vitamin A. The Essential Oils in Carrots also help to detoxify the skin, and promotes a radiant glow! The Beta-carotenoids in Carrots have a plethera of benefits for the skin including collagen production, cell degeneration reduction (slows down aging) and sun damage resistance.

Hair and Nail Health
The high Vitamin A content in Carrots prevents your nails from becoming dry, brittle and dull. Vitamins A, K, C, B6, B1, B2, B3, fibre, potassium and phosphorous found in carrots also stimulate hair growth, improves blood circulation to hair folicles which encourages strong, shiny hair. Carrots also protect hair, nails and skin from external pollutants and weather damage.

3. Weight Loss Benefits!

Increases Metabolism
The high levels of Vitamin B complexes found in carrots help to metabolize fats, proteins and glucose. At the same time B complexes help to build muscle which in turn increases our metabolism (weight loss). The Phosphorous in Carrot juice also boosts the bodies metabolic rate!

Increases Oxygen
Carrot juice is an incredible source of iron. Coming from someone who has suffered from Anemia for most of my life, Iron is incredibly important for your bodies overall health, and therefore aids in your weight loss journey. If your body is low on Iron, it wont be getting the proper amount of Oxygen that it needs to feed the function of the body (organs, muscles, etc.). If your body is not receiving the oxygen that it needs to function properly, your workouts and healthy eating could be sabotaged.

Digestion
Carrot Juice contains a large amount of Fibre which aids in digestion! Carrots are also carminative in nature (relieves gas), so they natural reduce gas stored in the digestive tract, and therefore reducing bloating and discomfort.
